My Panoramic Images!

I decided to go an take a few panoramas at a lake near my house. I had decided from an early stage when we were given the brief that this would be my location as I think it's pretty cool and would work well.

This was the first panorama I took from the location and the whole idea behind this was to have the green path as the middle point and main part of the image. I really liked how this panorama turned out with the lake on one side and the trees on the other. I made a few edits to certain colours to make them stand out as this was taken on the evening the photos unedited were pretty dull.

This is the second panoramic image I put together and was a series of 18 photos to cover the width of the whole lake. This is an unedited panorama and I think this has still come out well given the time of day that it was taken the lake looks really effective in my opinion.

Lake Photography Research!

I'd decided I wanted to do a landscape panoramic for my final image. But after looking at some panoramic images I found on the internet I did really like the idea of lakes included in my picture. I then decided to look at images with the main point being the lake.

This image of a lake is really effective especially with the reflection of the clouds appearing. The water looks so still and then the green from the trees really stands out.

The image also has the same effect with a reflection in the water but has been taken at a different time of day which makes the clouds look really effective.

This looks to be an unedited image but also really effective with the trees reflecting onto the lake. This picture mainly makes me want to include a lake in my final panoramic image as it will look the closest to mine out the images I have looked at given the location.

Here is another image that includes a lake but you could argue it's not the main point of the image with the view behind the lake being more important. Although I do want to include a lake in my image I don't necessarily need it as the main point.

Landscape Photography Initial Research.

For my final panorama I decided that I wanted to do take some photos involving a landscape. So the first thing i did was look at some of the best i could find on the internet:

Here is an example of a very simple panoramic shot across a field. This is effective and a clear example of what a panoramic shot should look like.

Here i have found an image that has been edited, it's clearly in a beautiful location and I feel by making this black and white some of the effect has been taken away from the image. I can imagine the bright colours of the lake and trees making this image look amazing!

This is the best image so far and looks to have been edited quite a lot. The sun being the main part of this image really stands out with the rest of the image being quite dark. The location for this image is also really good and with the lake being at the bottom it creates a really good effect.

I really like this panoramic shot and it's different than the others as it seems the original colours have been kept the same if not been adjusted to make them brighter. The blue sky is really effective and blends in really well with the bright green colour of the grass.

This is a really nice image and has been edited quite a bit. The quality is really high and the location is amazing with the yellow grass and mountains in the background. The clouds are really effective with the sun shining through them on one side and them also being pretty dull on the other side.
